Canine Support is a UK based company, which provides a professional service, specialising in all aspects of canine security.
Since established over 20 years ago, the company has provided high profile Patrol Dog teams and Detection Dogs, sometimes more discreet, to a multitude of clients throughout UK.
Our Security Dog and Handler teams have been deployed to airports, international exhibitions, conferences, numerous sporting and entertainment events, celebrity and diplomatic residences and schools. Our teams have also assisted Local Councils in reducing anti-social behaviour and vandalism by patrolling parks, open spaces and housing estates, as well as assisting Police operations in the combat against the miss-use of drugs.
All our staff are licensed through the S.I.A(Security Industry Authority), compulsory since 20th March 2006 and hold the necessary licenses for the appropriate position that they may be deployed.
Much of our recruited team have a Police Service background, with some of our operatives being ex-military personnel.
Canine Support Dog and Handler teams are particularly chosen for their communications and people skills and are available for event and sub-contract work to other companies. Working either ‘high’ or ‘low’ profile our service can be tailored to the clients requirements and made available nationally.
When sub-contracted to other companies we understand that we work under the ‘banner’ of the parent company and therefore have un-liveried vehicles.
